He has 27 years’ experience in FMCG Industry in Pakistan and abroad. He has also served in senior Leadership roles in Engro Foods Limited and British American Tobacco (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong & Indonesia).

Mr. Usman has been instrumental in turning around Fauji Foods business. His Leadership credentials are well respected in the industry. He has successfully led business transformation and change in his previous roles. He brings depth of understanding of Pakistan’s consumer market and a proven track record of delivering results.

Ali A. Aga has over 38 years of multi industry experience in a wide range of management positions in General Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Corporate Affairs, Operations and Supply Chain Management in ICI Pakistan as well as German company Hoechst and other national Companies.

He is currently the Managing Partner Middle East – South Asia & Chief Executive Pakistan for Ward Howell International, a global Leadership & Management consulting company. Prior to his involvement with Ward Howell in 2014, he was working with Pakistan’s leading company ICI where he worked for almost 25 years in various senior positions.

He was appointed the Chief Executive of ICI Pakistan & Chairman of ICI Pakistan Power Gen Limited during the transition period of ICI Pakistan’s ownership from Akzo Nobel Netherlands to the YB Group in Pakistan in 2013. He also held the position of a Director on the Board of ICI Pakistan and worked as Vice President & Managing Director of ICI’s flagship Soda Ash Business from 2008 to 2014.

He has also served as General Manager Human Resource for the ICI Group in Pakistan from 2004 to 2008 and looked after HR for the ICI group in Pakistan and Middle East, and was also responsible for leadership development programs for the Regional & Industrial Business of ICI plc globally.

Ali Aga has also served as a Director on the Boards of Pakistan PTA Ltd, Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited, ICI Power Gen Ltd, and Pakistan Society for Training & Development. He is a Certified Director and Accredited Trainer on Corporate Governance by IFC and Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), and a visiting Faculty for PICG’s Director’s training program.

He is an Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee and member of HR & Remuneration Committee of the Board of Descon Oxychem Ltd., and has served as Independent Director on the Boards of Public Sector Companies STEDEC Technology Commercialization Corporation of Pakistan, Inland Water Transport Company of Pakistan and Engineering Development Board. He is also involved in volunteer work in the field of management development and has served as the Vice Chairman of the Lahore Chapter of Management Association of Pakistan and a Council member of the Lahore Chapter of Marketing Association of Pakistan.
Ali Aga holds an MBA degree from Drexel University U.S.A and a BSc. (Engg.) in Chemical Engineering from University of the Punjab. He has attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and has been a guest speaker at various local and international conferences and seminars.

Rahil Mahtab

Mr. Rahil Mahtab joined FFFL in 2017 and is heading the Agri Development and Procurement function of the Company. He is responsible for procurement of Direct Materials & devising strategies for developing sustainable souring base of Agri Raw Materials for the Company. Prior to this, he was working with METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan, where he served for 8 years as Senior Buyer in various Categories of Fresh & Frozen Food. As a Food Technologist, he has done Masters from NIFSAT – University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

Haleema Tariq Ameen

Manager Marketing

Ms. Haleema Tariq Ameen worked in the industry for 10 years as a commercial professional with a passion for performing in result-oriented environments. Proven ability to effectively develop, manage and control relationships between the company and its target audience as well as track record of managing high value projects and campaigns from conceptualization to execution. Supports revenue-growth by helping topline through strong (RTM) route to market strategy. She possesses an in-depth understanding of brand management, marketing and sales strategy new brand launch, category & campaign management, along with brand building objectives served prestigious organizations under various roles in her tenure with Netsol, Oriflame, Reem Rice, & Samsons Group of companies.

She’s now taking care of the brand OPA for Fauji FreshnFreeze Limited from building brand equity to engaging the relevant participants and strategizing new launches under value additions for future – by effectively handling the entire IMC plan and lead the execution of campaigns from start to finish driving collaboration with the key stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes.

Shanza Haider

Ms. Shanza Haider is Human Resource and Shared Services Manager. Being a Lancaster University graduate, she carries with her a diverse human resource management and development experience of over 10 years in tech, education, construction, textile and manufacturing sector in the organizations including Descon, LUMS, MLCFL and CBL. In her role since 2022, Heading the People and Services team, she oversees a broad range of functions including talent management & culture, employer branding, employee relations and experience, academic business partnerships, compensation & benefits, inclusion and diversity, information systems, support operations and over all administrative upkeep company wide.

Shanza and her team aims to promote a value driven culture of collaboration, empowerment and strives to make FFFL to be included in one of the most innovative, diverse, and inclusive companies globally.

Mr. Babar Ali

Senior Manager – National Sales

Mr. Babar Ali joined FFFL in 2017 and in his current capacity, he is heading the National Sales division of the Company. He is responsible to develop effective sales strategies to achieve substantial business growth targets by ensuring a robust and efficient distribution network across customer channels. Prior to joining FFFL, Babar was associated with METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan for almost 7 years & worked on various assignments in Supply Chain and Commercial Divisions. Being a champion for building and leveraging high performance end-to-end organizations, he is also passionately involved towards the learning and development of his sales force. Babar is a business graduate from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Lahore.

Mr. Mubashir Rasheed

Head – Plant Operations

Mr. Mubashir Rasheed is leading the entire factory team from operations, maintenance, administration, utilities and projects. Mubashir has got an experience of over 12 years in the field of factory production and maintenance operations. During his tenure in FFFL, he has worked to implement performance measurement systems for improving line efficiencies and maximizing asset utilization. He was given additional role of project lead for major plant capacity enhancement project, where he led a project team of 25 engineers to successfully complete capacity enhancement project which added 300% production capacity. Other than operations he has also significantly contributed towards improving employee engagement at factory level, keeping life at plant engaging and eventful.

In his previous assignments he has worked for Packages Limited in Utilities section of factory and in Unilever Pakistan where he lead the Maintenance department.
Mr. Mubashir is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering. Later, he completed his MBA in Marketing and Finance from Lahore School of Economics and diploma in Agri Business Management from Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Mr. Muhammad Ahmad

Deputy General Manager

Mr. Muhammad Ahmad has been working with FFFL since 2016 and was later elevated as DGM Supply Chain in 2021. At FFFL, Supply Chain function is responsible for Planning, Procurement, Agri Development, Manufacturing, Customer Services, Quality Assurance & Product Development.

Ahmad played a key role in devising and executing a chain strategy at FFFL, which is fully aligned with the Company’s vision of delighting its consumers with healthy and environmentally friendly agricultural products. At FFFL, along with his SC teams, Ahmad did major transformation in supply chain model by converting a traditional spot purchase of Agri raw material to a sustainable supply model of contract farming, Introduction of quality assurance activities from farm to fork.

Ahmad has got 25 years of working experience with different FMCGs like Rafhan, Best foods, Coca-Cola, Metro Cash & Carry & in different business units of Unilever Pakistan.

Ahmad has passion for developing others through his learnings & experiences. He has been associated with University of the Punjab as visiting faculty member in Food Technology Department. He has also been a Board Member of Punjab Food Authority (2013-2016) & “National Curriculum Review Committee” for Food Science & Technology.

Ahmad had done MS in Supply Chain & Retail Management, M.Sc in Food Technology, MBA in General Management, MS in TQM and several executive certificate in Agri Business Management and strategic leadership. He is also a certified lead auditor for quality management system & food safety management system.

Mr. Ali Salman

Mr. Ali Salman joined FFFL in May 2018 as the Head of Sales & Marketing. Later in 2018, he was elevated and assumed his current role of General Manager in the organization. Ali has professional work experience of over 25 years in leading capacity associated with organizations including Unilever Malaysia & Pakistan, Shan Foods, Caltex Oil & Asian Foods in different Sales & Marketing roles. He possesses diversified experience of product categories including Beverages, Home & Personal Care and Frozen Foods in key leadership roles within Pakistan and overseas.
His area of expertise includes Go-to-Market strategy, sales and distribution – both ambient and frozen products, Channel & Customer Marketing, Restaurant & Franchise Management, Key Accounts management and Cold Chain development.
Ali has an MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.

Mr. Waseem Haider

Waseem Haider Joined as CFO of FFFLw.e.f01 November 2024. He is a fellow of CIMA UK and brings over 27 years of diverse work experience in Finance & related areas.

Mr. Waseem has worked in blue chips locally in Pakistan as well as has significant international exposure from MENA and Oceania region. He is a strong performer with ability to lead large teams. His core areas include Business Strategy, Turnaround, Business Restructuring, Planning, Product costing, Treasury Management & Problem Solving. He has also managed IT, Supply Chain and other shared services. Waseem brings with him strategic leadership, decision making/problem solving & interpersonal & communication skills. Mr. Waseem is a change agent with the capability to work closely at all levels to deliver the required results. He has a track record of adding long term value, prioritizing decisions, and driving agile and data driven transformations with in-depth business expertise and experience across a wide range business areas.

Later joined IFFCO group of companies, which is a leading conglomerate based in UAE with over US$ 3.0 Billion in business. Worked as Managing Director and CEO in their many private and public limited companies in Egypt, Malaysia, Tunisia, KSA, Oman, Kuwait, Turkey and UAE, for over 13 years.

Initiated and lead a long-term strategic business planning process in all IFFCO Edible Oils & Fats Division comprising seven independent companies based in various countries. Was an active member of group management committee responsible for the business planning, handling major issues and overall corporate governance.

Since last three years working as Strategy and Management Consultant, facilitating various organizations in Pakistan to define / refine their mission/vision, developing strategic plans, key initiatives, comprehensive strategies, and action plans to achieve their growth initiatives. Mr. Syed Bakhtiyar

Mr. Kazmi is a fellow chartered accountant with over 35 years of experience in a diverse range of sectoral and functional strata within national and regional economies. The key areas of his specialization are fiscal policy and macroeconomic research, greenfield and brownfield projects, strategic collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, outliers in accounting and finance, strategic level audit and assurance and tax reforms and strategic level advisory.

Mr. Kazmi served KPMG for 35 years; last 25 years as a partner. As a partner he interacted with the leadership in almost every industry, understanding their vision, their insights, and most importantly on their business strategies. His rigorous exposure to a diverse range of sectors and projects, enabled him to conceive and culminate strategic value additions for his clients, pertaining to public and private sector organizations. He successfully implemented a comprehensive service delivery framework that ensures quality assured service provision to KPMG’s clients, and a cross-functional integration with the advisory and taxation services that allowed a robust and comprehensive service delivery package to the clients. As an auditor and an advisor, Mr. Kazmi successfully delivered his promise of providing best-in-class and integrity driven services.

With his career progression, he branched into macroeconomic research with a focus on contributing towards fiscal and regulatory policies of Pakistan. He almost single-handedly established advisory practice of KPMG in Islamabad about 2 decades ago which today arguably is the go to advisory in Islamabad. This initiative covered financial projections, feasibilities, information memorandums, internal audit assessments, HR assessments, manuals for processes and controls, valuations, and development advisory which included an assessment of the Punjab and Sindh governments.
Mr. Kazmi has served on a number of diverse forums / Boards in the Private Sector, Public Sector & Civil Society Organization and regularly publishes in reputable dailies.

Lieutenant General Ali Amir Awan, HI(M) was commissioned in 132 Medium Regiment Artillery on 11 March 1988. He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defence University, Islamabad. He also holds Master degree in War Studies. General Officer has vast experience of Command & Staff Appointments including General Staff Officer-III and Brigade Major of an Infantry Brigade. General Officer has the honour of being instructor Class “B” at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul. General Officer has commanded 132 Medium Regiment Artillery, Swat Scouts, Infantry Brigade, Artillery Division at Operational area Swat and an Infantry Division. The General Officer has also served as Liaison Officer in United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in Haiti, Staff Officer at United States CENTCOM, Army and Air Attache in United Kingdom, Director Staff Duties (Alpha) in Chief of Army Staff Secretariat GHQ, Additional Secretary at Ministry of Defence Production and Inspector General Communication & Information Technology, GHQ. Fariyha Subhani is an accomplished Business Executive and former General Manager/CEO of Upfield South & Central Asia, a global leader in organic plant-based food established in 2018.
Prior to her role at Upfield, Fariyha held diverse positions at Unilever spanning Homecare, Personal Care, and Foods. From 2009 to 2015, she led the Food and Refreshments division, serving as the CEO of Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited and a Director on the Unilever board. During this tenure, Unilever’s food business experienced exponential growth, achieving profitability in several categories. Fariyha also played a pivotal role in global strategic initiatives, serving as a Director for Laundry and Household Care categories based in Bangkok. Additionally, she led Media and Consumer Research for Unilever Pakistan.

With over 30 years of leadership experience, Fariyha excels in brand building, development, sales, and customer relations. Her expertise extends to consumer and customer strategies, innovation, advertising development, on-ground and digital activation, and sales excellence.

Lt Gen Anwar Ali Hyder, HI(M) (Retired) Chairman Joined the Board on April 6, 2024 With nearly four decades of distinguished military service, Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder (Retired) brings consummate skill and experience in planning, organization and administration to his present assignment. Throughout his distinguished career he held prestigious positions in various command, staff and instructional roles, culminating in the position of Principal Staff Officer to the Chief of Army Staff as Adjutant General of Pakistan Army. A role in which he provided leadership and spearheaded several important welfare initiatives and large-scale commercial projects at the Army and national level, including strategizing the development and growth of Fauji Foundation Companies and serving as the Chairman of Army Welfare Trust.

His extensive experience in Pakistan Army includes noteworthy contributions in planning and development of Defence Housing Authorities (DHAs) all over the country and supervising development and management of countrywide mega housing projects such as Askari Housing Colonies.

 

He also had the distinctive opportunity of making contributions in the academic domain as President National Defence University and as member of the Board of Governors of NUST, NUMS and NUTECH.

Transitioning seamlessly into civilian leadership role, Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder (Retired) assumed the chairmanship of Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA) and played an important role in the interim Federal Cabinet as the Caretaker Minister for Defence and Defence Production. He also served as a member of the Apex Committee of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), where he made multifaceted contributions to national economic growth initiatives and in the process remained engaged with several public and private sector entities and multinational organizations.

 

His strategic prowess and commitment to excellence is complimented by his professional and academic qualifications, which include Masters in Strategic Studies from United States Army War College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania and MSc in War Studies from National Defence University, Islamabad. His dedication to duty and meritorious services in Pakistan Army were duly recognized through conferment of the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card and the prestigious Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) by the President of Pakistan.

Beyond his executive roles, Jahangir has served on numerous boards, including Engro Foundation, REON Energy, and Pakistan Oxygen Ltd., where he has played a key role in decisions impacting the future of energy, infrastructure, and community support across Pakistan. His commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and adaptive growth is evident in the initiatives he supports and the teams he builds.

A Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Jahangir also completed the Advanced Management Program fromINSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. His formal education laid a strong foundation, but his leadership style has been shaped by decades of hands-on experience and a dedication to creating positive, lasting change. Known for his commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as his advocacy for digital transformation, Jahangir continues to lead with purpose, building organizations that are resilient, agile, and prepared for the future.

Quality Assurance

At FFFL, our Quality Assurance Department ensures that product meets best in class standards starting from sowing of F&V in the fields till consumption by the end users. This is achieved through three main pillars of quality assurance. First, being the Field Operations, which ensures highest standards for Raw Material Quality and Safety based on Global GAP standard. Second is the plant operations quality assurance which ensures that our products are produced in accordance with legal and customer-agreed requirements at state-of-art machinery. Thirdly, through our QA System Compliance we ensure the holistic adherence to system protocols, ensuring the utmost product safety and quality till the consumption by end customer. Additionally, we take pride in our certifications for BRCGS Issue 09, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and Halal Management System (PS:3733:2022), reflecting our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operation.

 

The company commenced operations in 2014 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), one of the largest business conglomerates of Pakistan. Our portfolio includes frozen French fries as well as a wide variety of frozen fruits and vegetables that are available in both retail, and food service sectors.
